Haim Shirman (Hebrew: חיים שירמן) (born 18 October 1904; died 14 June 1981) was Israeli scholar of medieval Spanish Jewish poetry.

Shirman was born in Kiev in the Russian Empire (today in Ukraine) in 1904. After studying in his home country until 1919, he moved to Germany and received a degree in Semetic Linguistics from Berlin University in 1930. He emigrated to Mandate Palestine, now Israel, in 1934.
He began lecturing in medieval poetry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1942, and became a professor there in 1954. Shirman continuing his work at the university until 1968.
